I just need to know, because I used to be into poetry a while back...
So, when you write, is it always about something you either saw, experienced, observed or felt, or do you somtimes make up a situation and write about it... like fiction?
Also, can you write poetry at any time so long as you have a pen and a paper or does it come to you as inspiration randomly. In other words, do poets also experience writer's block?

to answer your question about pen and paper? anything can trigger a poem...poets block? I dont force it if its not there...yet experiences guide the way much...
